My husband and I got our dog 8 months ago from a city shelter. He had only been there for 2 days and had come in with 2 of his siblings. When we got him home we discovered he was potty trained and new most basic commands. The only issue we have is hes a submissive pee-er. We have tried every tip abd trick we have read and it just seems to be getting worse and we are at our wits end. How do you cure or help reduce submissive peeing?

He was a found dog that no one claimed. Perfect health, he seems professionally trained, obeys when we say no, does not mess the house, ihe does not chew on shoes or anything else, does not mess with any garbage, stays home all day perfectly fine no problem, seems or is the perfect dog, is very social, loves to play in yard n with kids, only problem is, he is not very affectionate does not lick or give kisses at all and growls if we hug him or get close to his face, he will not look at you straight to yr face, he pulls his face away. How can I get him to be more loving n give kisses? Pls no calls, email only
