This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise

My dog is showing major aggression towards other members of the household. He charges at them, barks, bites and scratches. However, this is only when I am home. When I am not home, he is fine. He's not necessarily being friendly with them but he just keeps to himself. He doesn't bark or anything. But it's like a switch. As soon as I walk in the door he charges at the first other person he sees and bites. Why is this? And how can I change this?

We adopted Lady about a week ago. We already had a dog in the house. Bolt is a male, 1 year and 9 month old pomeranian. He is submissive and trained. Bolt was afraid of Lady when she first came into the house and never went near unless she was sleeping or was lying down when he approached her. Lady would continually chase him and he would just run and hide. He would sleep near her when he was sure she was asleep or lie down near her if she was lying down and not chasing him. But now since a week has passed, I thought they would be a little more comfortable toward one another but now Bolt is snarling and hissing at her when she would chase him and she would just stare at him and chase again. I've been told its just how a older dog would reprimand a puppy when the puppy would be bothering the older dog. But Bolt is small compared to her, I don't know if she'll learn to stop when he tells her to. I'm already being told two dogs of different breeds can never get along in a house and that I should keep one outside. I do not want to keep either of them outside nor do I ever want to give one of them up. I do not know how to get those two to get along. Is it even possible? I really need to know what to do and how to do it. Please, answer the question soon.

I work M-F for 10-12 hours. My dogs continue to do their bathroom inside and out. I have a constant mess to clean up even after i'm home and take them out back. I dont know what to do. I have a crate that both can fit into, but leaving them for so many hours a day, i feel so bad for them so i dont have the heart to do it. Hiring someone to come in and let them out is way too much of an expense for me. I had Mike years ago but, couldnt stick with the "growling" technique. Can you give me any ideas or is there no more hope?
