This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise

Our dog, who we recently adopted from our local animal shelter, is the most friendly, lovable, playful animal at home but just the opposite when he comes in contact with other dogs. Whenever we take him where there are other dogs he becomes extremely agitated and agressive against them. I'm afraid that if he ever got loose in a situation like this that he would get hurt as he is a small dog just under 14 lbs. Is there any training available to stop his agression against other dogs?

This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger Hyperactivity

So overall he is great indoors outdoors and around people. My problem is around other dogs he gets agressive an that concerns me I don't want him to attack another dog so as far as to prevent this I want to see what I can do to stop this behavior. So that way I can be confident he is ok to be around other dogs. Any help/ advice will be much appreciated. Thank you.

My fiancé recently adopted a 5 year old German Shepherd from the lady who has had him since he was 8 weeks old. But now, all her children are moved out and is moving into an apartment where she cannot keep Baron.rnOn the phone she told us that he came off extremely aggressive and that everyone is too afraid to meet him. But when we went to meet him, she let us in the house and immediately released Baron from his crate. So we did not see how he truly acted.rnWell once released he jumped on us and would "mouth" our arms and hands.rnAll he wanted was attention and was so sweet.rnSo we decided that we'd take him home with us and work on getting him to stop jumping on people and mouthing, in time. rnBut, when it came to introducing him to people, although she warned us of his behavior, we didn't see how he reacted to the full extent.rnBaron acts as if he is going to attack and kill people. Our families are terrified to be introduced.rnIs there a way we can stop that kind of behavior?

Everytime our dog goes poop she tries to eat it. We take her our on a leash and tell her no. WE tried putting tabasco sauce on it she will not eat it but looks for the ones where is has worn off. She has been doing this since we got her when she was 8 weeks old. It is getting very tiresome for all of us. How can we prevent this so she can run and play in the yard without a leash.
