Here is the situation: I just got him last night. Purchased from a lady who had already had two small dogs and her husband surprised her with him. I guess it wasn't working out for her so she sold him to me. She claimed that he never eliminated in her house which I'm calling BS on. If its true it must be because she kept it running around in the backyard all day.rnrnAnyway, just minutes after she dropped him off in my house he peed. No big deal I figure. He's just marking his territory. I cleaned it up. Gave water and fed and went on a long walk. Didn't release a drop. Get home and he S&Ps. Then it appeared that when I scolded him for doing something bad, like biting the rug, a few seconds later he peed on it!rnrnFast fwd a bit. Fed a bit more and given some more water. Took him out for a whole hour and he wouldn't P&S. I'm at my wits end and contemplating returning the dog to whom I purchased it from. rnrnPlease offer some advice!

This question is about: Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise

I hired Bark Busters and Casey came out every couple of weeks. The last week he came he said that Eli was ready for his good behavior award. What ever that is. He set a date that he would be back to test. He did not show up on that date and I have not heard from him since. The last time he was here was on March 24, 2014. His behavior has been really very good.

Day before yesterday Zuse started growling at Patrick(his owner), Patrick promptly put him outside in the yard awayfrom us and the other two dogs. That evening he allowed Patrick to brush him. Yesterday Zuse growled again at Patrick and showed bodyweight him like snarled. Today I came home and walked into the house and became at me showing his teeth barking he took two complete steps towards me I grabbed the broom swung it he went to the hall. It took approximately 1 1/2 hours to get him outside. He growled the hole time. Is this a medical issue or will some kind of training help?

This question is about: Hyperactivity Puppy Management

Hello, We adopted our Boston a little over a month ago. We have been taking him to classes at the local pet smart, were we have been doing well. However, I have some concerns when it comes to my dogs social skills. Whenever he is introduced to other dogs he gets really excited and wants to play with them. We get them up close and it looks like he wants to nip them, but we don't wait long enough to find out if he is trying to or not. We know that being a puppy means that he is going to want to play. We are concerned because my mother in law just adopted a 8 week only standard poodle, and we want them to socialize but dont know the right way to go about it. We are afraid that Rocky will be to much for the puppy. What do you suggest we do to introduce the 2 of them and get rocky to feel comfrotable about being around the new puppy? And not just that puppy, but other dogs as well. His hyperactive approch seems to also scare dogs away and make them not want to come close to him. What should we do?

How do i get my dog to stop chewing things around the house, and how to stop him from biting people's hands and feet. I've tried yelping like a dog and that worked for around two days, I've tried clapping my hands and giving him his toy but that no longer works. He just seems to be getting worse.
