Good afternoon, rnI'm not sure if you will be able to help but I'm trying to find some helpful tips on a recent situation. I have a Beagle/Blue Tick, he's 3 years old and never been an aggressive dog. Has been around several different breeds and gets along with all. My boyfriend has a pit/boxer mix, sweet dog (when hes in his own home) they came to my house, both dogs (had already met several times) were running around the yard just fine. Something happened, too quick to know, and it got ugly. My dog had a puncture on the top of his head, cheek and a nice piece of skin off his ear. They still play at his house only. We think his dog has a dominance issue outside his own home and that's what the problem was. Not sure if we should try again at my house. Ever since then they play but my dog is standoffish and I don't know if that's going to cause a problem with his dog being aggressive. rnAny help would be appreciated on how we can make sure it doesn't happen again and to help my dog get over his fear.

This question is about: Destructive chewing that results in destruction of furniture, woodwork etc Hyperactivity

I have a 1.5 year old terrier pitbull mix and she is incredibly destructive. I don't know what to do with her. I have given her plenty of toys (which is difficult because she destroys most of them too, even the so-called "indestructible" ones) but she chews everything. She's destroyed DVD cases, shoes, the corners of furniture, even her own bed! I walk her for an hour each day when I get home from work and she has free reign to play in the yard with my other dog. I don't know what to do anymore to keep her from destroying things. She has a crate (she stays in it at night), but I really hate to leave her in it all day while I'm at work. I would rather teach her to not chew things so I could leave her out during the day. Especially because my other dog (a shepard mix) is well behaved, but I feel like I would have to put him in his crate during the day too so it seems fair. Please let me why why she does this and what I can do.
