This question is about: Hyperactivity Puppy Management

When I let both of them out of their creates with a "free" comand they are really happy but play very rough. I realize due their size (9 months and over 70 pounds each) they can get a bit too rough. This goes on until we tell them to "let go" and distract them with toys. My questions is how can I get them to be calm when they are released from their creates? Thank you!

What's the best way to introduce our dogs to next door neighbor dogs? We are moving to a new house, and there are dogs on all sides of our house new house. It will be fully fenced, but I want to prevent any issues! rnrnMy dogs are good with other dogs, however Daisy has a tendency to get super excited if she can't sniff the other dog. Once introduced, she's fine.

My 8mo old puppy (jack Russell/boxer mix) has started two very bad habits that I just can't figure out how to stop.rnrn1. If some picks up another dog he jumps up continually to try and get the dog, which usually results in the owner of the other dog twisting and turning to get away from him and protect the other dog which ends up making it worse because he thinks it's a game. I have read that this is a natural habit but it's embarrassing and obviously not safe.rn2. He has started grabbing other dogs collars and harnesses and pulling the other dogs around.rnrnI would like to point out that in both cases he is not being aggressive but thinks he's playing.

This question is about: Toileting

I have had 7 dogs in my life. 3 were Doberman pinschers, one is a German Pinscher, and before my current JRT puppy, 2 Jack Russells. iu also have trained horses for 30 years. I have never had a problem for dominant and caring, and successful with them all. Scooter, who we have now had for 3 weeks, will not house train. I have used crate methods, I have taken him out at reasonable intervals and everything else I know to do. He is pleasant and sweet, but ever after outside for more than three hours will come in and in the blink of an eye, poop and pee all over the place. I don't know what to try. I am not sure buying a $400 crate is the answer, HELP
