This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise

I have a Shih-tzu, Maltese and Pomeranian mixed dog.She is very territory with her bone. When you look at her she will begin to growl. When you move towards her she will begin to growl, this becomes more intense the closer you move. She will also began to bow her head and bark. She doesn't keep the bone right beside her, but a half a foot away. Earlier today I made a trade with her, a treat for her bone, I placed the bone on the floor and took her bone from her when she went to get it.She didn't notice until after she finished her treat. This is when she jumped on the catch sniffing for the bone.It was under my leg, and she knew it.She began to climb on my lap, growing and Barking. She is like this with everyone including the two other cats we have. She isn't like this with her treats but will growl only once or twice when eating. What can I do to prevent aggression? And for everyones safety? Thanks

She is very food agressive. She barks, growls, and even nips at us when we give her food. Does your dog training address this issue?

Phoenix is a rescue dog from a neglecting household (no physical abuse, mostly malnourished). She has had no training, beyond house-training, and crate training (she goes in her crate very nicely and is good when in it). Outside of those things she does not listen, does not associate food rewards with actions, bites, runs, chew, jumps, and barks. She shows no respect for me or the house. I have trained Danes before with great success, but she seems to have no desire to please. My deep, calm and commanding voice seems to have no effect on her, and I am quickly becoming frustrated. Please help me to get her to trust and listen so I can continue to train her with success.rnThank you
