Today, I went to go walk my dog and noticed he jumped the gun and decided to poop on the floor. It's happened on occasion, but not a big deal. I got his attention by yelling his name. He ran away from me. I went to grab him to rub his nose in the poop (don't worry I would do it gently) and he tried to bite me. I made eye contact with him hovered over him until the growling ended. I then reached for him again and he tried to bite me again. I pulled way and he ran underneath my bed.rnrnI've had buddy since 2010. I've had a nibble or two when he's really excited and trying to play. But he's never tried to angrily bite anyone. Should I be concerned? What should I do?

We got Odie about 6 weeks ago from the human society. He's a great dog, smart and funny and very sweet but I problem is training him got potty outside. This is not normal, when he is home alone he is left inside and has not had an accident in the house. When we are home we let him out on a pretty regular schedule but several times he will go outside potty then come back in a go on the floor again. Not sure why he is doing this. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I recently adopted Emma who had been living with an aggressive dog who was attacking her. I own a cat. She has not shown aggression towards the cat, except if the cat walks toward her food bowl. In this case even if there is no food in the bowl she will growl or bark at the cat. She has not shown any aggression towards me when I touch her food. However, I need to know how to end this territory behavior to my other animal for the cat's safety and so she knows where she stands.
