Our puggle is extremely high strung when she sees people walk by the window, or if someone rings the bell, or visitors come in. She cannot stop barking. It goes on and on and the sound is deafening. She barks for the smallest things. She even barks excessively out of excitement when one of us comes home from being out. It is driving us nuts, our nerves are shot and she gets worse as she gets older. What do you advise?

Hi there,rnI've been dog sitting an Irish Setter and he is a nightmare! He chews on EVERYTHING, even though I have an abundance of toys and bones he doesn't chew on them but merely tosses them around. I've taken everything he's chewed on and locked it in a closet and have been putting lemon juice on everything else, do you recommend anything else to stop him from wrecking all my belongings?rnrnAlso, I take Duke out 4-5 times a day for half an hour each time. Outside we go jogging together and he does his business. I'm also constantly playing fetch with him and tug of war. Everytime I take Duke outside he poops and then he comes back to my apartment and poops and pees EVERYWHERE! I'm getting so fed up with cleaning up after him and have only been feeding him twice a day dry food. Do you think it's separation anxiety that's causing him to go all over my apartment?rnrnDuke has also been climbing on counter tops to try to steal food and it is nearly impossible for me to sit down and have dinner without him trying to take food out of my hands. I tell him to sit but he barks at me before he eventually does it then gets right back up and tries to pry more food out of my hands.rnrnIt's day number 6 since I've gotten him and I have him until Aug 30th, this dog needs some serious training and I don't know how to go about it. Any advice you could give me would really help me out.rnrnTracy.
