My dog seems to be very protective of me to the point where she barks growls and snarls at my other two dogs. We haven't tried her around any other dogs because were afraid that she'll act the same way. How do we prevent her from acting this way?

This question is about: Toileting

My mini dachshund is more or less potty trained, and we can leave her alone in the house for up to five hours without any accidents. Sometimes when I have to go to the office for a full day, she'll be left alone for eight hours. During these times, she will typically have accidents in the house. I know she can hold her potty for longer periods of time as she does this every night when we sleep, so I'm not sure why she is having accidents with eight hour periods of being alone. When we are home she knows to pee outside and won't have an accident in front of us. Any ideas of what to do? Thanks.
