Cody is a rescue dog. I volunteered at the rescue and he was returned three times after adoption. I fell in love with him and took him home. He is the most wonderful, sweetheart dog except for his barking. He clearly suffers from anxiety and is a very nervous dog. when I adopted him I had another dog who has since passed away. As he gets older he seems to be mellower but he still can bark for 8 hours straight. HELP! (Both what my dogs were poisoned, I believe by a neighbor. And I believe it was because of Cody's barking. fortunately they made it through okay after $4,000 in vet bills.) He barks less if we are home. It appears random and sometimes for no reason.

I got my puppy about 2 months ago and began crate training him. Eventually, we got to the point where he'd only bark, cry, and whine around 5:30-6am when he needed to go for a walk. The past few nights he's been barking and crying all night. I've tried taking him out, giving him a little food, giving him long-lasting treats to chew on, but he continues to bark. I don't understand why he regressed in his behavior or what I can do.

My dog has gotten increasingly aggressive, mostly when anyone comes anywhere near either a toy, food, or anything really that he wants, even inedible items. He has actually bitten my husband, and attempted to bite both myself and my teenage children. I am actually quite terrified of him and it breaks my heart. The instances where he tried to bite the children is when they were petting him on his head. I really do not want to get rid of him and I don't want to show fear but what can I do?

Recently adopted an 8 week old airedale/beagle mix from a shelter. He is constantly bitting and extremely hard and aggressive often times bringing blood. We have tried every suggestion from bitter apple to time out to even using squirt guns. We are unable to enroll him in a training class till he has his rabies vaccine which is about a month away. Any suggestions at what to do.
