My black lab shows extreme aggression, when a stranger drives up on property when iam not at home. If iam present, he will not demonstrate this behavior. You have never met such a sweet, layed back dog. But I finally saw this behavior first hand when a co worker drove me home in his truck, and I asked co worker to get out first so I could watch his reactions. My poor co worker hide to jump into the back of his own truck to escape a possible attack!! I couldn't believe that was my dog!! As soon as I got out of vehicle, he was perfectly fine and started playing with co worker??? He is a shelter rescue dog and is estimated to be around 2 years old. He has lived with me for about 8 months, and have had not one minute of trouble out of him. We bounded instantly, and hes my best friend!

For about a year now, I've had a rescue dog who was abused. She's very timid and gets so scared. I can not get her potty trained. I feel like I've tried everything. Pads, schedules, and she freaks being in a crate. I try to disipline her, but because she's been abused her whole life, it's hard to. She gets so scared when I raise my voice she either pees or poops herself. We have another dog in the house who is potty trained, my dog just hasn't caught on. What can I do? She's ruining the wood floors and my parents are threatening to get rid of her if we can't fix this. I'm not sure if I saved her or she saved me, she's my baby, and I don't want to have to get rid of her. Suggestions please!

Hi, I have 2 chihuahuas (brothers) that are 4 years old. I just got them from someone who couldn't keep them and it seems that they have had ZERO training, shots, or veterinary care. They won't even go on leashes! Frankie is very aggressive toward his brother and he attacks him often. Bear has a barking problem and Frankie cries when I leave the room. They are NOT neutered. Is it okay to do that at their age? Also, is it too late to break their bad habits?

My boyfriend and I want to move in together--he has three cats 7 and 8 yos --for the past month whenever myself and honey go over we put cats in downstairs family room with gate at top of steps. Cats are coming and they are sniffing each other. We took honey down once on short lead two cats came over but when honey got too close they batted her. I'm concerned as they have claws. Were aftaid if we let them loose Honey will chase them and scare them. Any suggestions? Honey also goes after rabbits and other ceeatures outside that has my boyfriend concerned.
