How can I earn more respect from my dog? She only listens to my mother and won't listen to anyone else, and if I tell her to come here/sit or lay down, she doesn't listen well. I'm also never able to train her better nor teach her tricks because she is an extra difficult dog to teach to... She also barks and is not nice to strangers and other dogs, and i wish i could take her on walks and just peacefully walk by another dog and she wouldn't mind them at all...

We rescued Sophie at 8 weeks of age. She is now 8 months, she has been a difficult pup from the beginning (potty training, sleeping through the night etc). Once we got her sleeping through the night, we allowed her to sleep with us. She sleeps on the bed no problem. A few months after we knew she was able to control her bladder during the day while we are at work, we moved her to the laundry room with a baby gate giving her a little more room to move around. After a few more months of her not having issues, we expanded her area to the kitchen (that was short lived after she learned she could reach the counter tops and could get out). The few times that she managed to open the baby gates and get out... she has gone after my Christmas tree, tore the bottom off, relocates my tree skirt and urinated on my husbands side of the bed. She has gotten out 2 more times and urinated on the floor (we have not had potty accidents for 2 moths until now). We have since moved her back into the laundry room and have not had any escape issues. She is now getting into EVERYTHING. She is getting food off the counter tops that are out of reach, eating plastic that the food is in and destroying everything that she has never had a problem with in the past. She is walked twice and day and interacted with constantly when we get home from work. I am not sure if she is in the terrible 2's phase or what but it has got to stop! I am not sure what to do anymore. The bad behavior is not only when we are gone but also when we are home. She is punished when we are around and see it happen. We have the treat balls to push around keep her occupied during the day and a frozen bone as well when we leave for work. Please help me!

I have a 6 month old Aussie, hes quite the good little boy and is pretty quick to pick up on things and seems to have an urge to listen and learn. My only issue is, not only does he come to me when I call him...he goes to anyone who knows his name. Such as my neighbors who tend to like to call him over and pet him.rnrnIs there anyway to train him so he won't listen to absolutely anyone who knows his name?

HI, I have a question about my dog's behavior he is a really sweet boy but recently he has been acting a little aggressive toward my other dog, female pit-bull. They do get along but on some days he snips or gets aggressive towards her, but they never got into any serious altercations. I don't know if her being pregnant is causing him to be aggressive towards her. I really hope I hear back from one of you please reach me at my email. Please and thank you.
