This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger Sibling Rivalry - aggression or fighting between dogs in the same household

Both my dogs are pits and from the same litter. We got them at 4 weeks of age. Over the last year and half there are some serious territory issues in the house that lead to major dog fights around my kids. Very dangerous. If I let them out in the back yard together they are fine and they play. It is only in the house there are issues. I just had them fixed two weeks ago hoping some of this will go away. Since their surgeries they have been kept apart completely because I didnt want them to injure themselves while in recovery. Now they are unable to be in the back yard together as my tan pit tries to attack the brindle. The brindle (Finley) used to be the one to attack all the time now it has flipped. Finley is fine outside but is getting attacked by our tan pit Zena. I need help I think. We have put them on leashes yesterday (Sunday) and made them sit next to each other and get a feel for each other again and after 20 min we let the brindle off the leash and she was ready to play with Zena yet Zena just wanted to dog attack and the hairs would stand straight up on her back. We would also like to have the dogs in the house at the same time together. That would be a dream. Please call!rnrnSheray OddenrnSpring, TX

Is it bad to name your dog a name with 3 syllables? I want to name my new puppy "Melody" but I am afraid that she won't be able to understand her name when I call or train her. I want her to be able to come to me when I call her but I really want to name her Melody.
