This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger

we have a lifetime training with Bark Busters and the trainer we worked with is John. I have not called him in quite a while but tried to today. His number is no longer in service and when I put our zip code in your system it shows no trainers in my area. Please let me know if there is a new contact trainer for us, that phone number and/or way to contact them. I do have a few questions regarding an issue with our dog and aggressiveness while trying to walk him - maybe trying to protect me? Thanks for your help.

My sister has been bitten twice in the last year. She was, this last time, putting the lid on the food container. My rat terrier Cooper LOVES other dogs. Having a play date with another dog is his favorite thing ever! He would rather play with the dog than get his favorite treats. It's nice to have a dog that is so sociable but other dogs might not like him as much because he can be very crazy since he is only almost a year old. Also he does not pay any attention to my around other dogs. His top priority is playing with the dog and does not respond at all when I call him. This is very difficult for me because if we are at the park and another dog shows up I have to leave because if I let him go play he will not come back and I will spend 20 minutes or more trying to get him back. Sometimes the other dog owner seems a little bit annoyed that my dog just runs up and starts playing with their dog especially if their dog doesn't appreciate Cooper. Also Cooper has a jumping problem so the owner of the other dog often gets jumped on. How do I get Cooper to pay attention to me when we are around other dogs?

This question is about: Other

Recently my dog has started whining whenever her toy teddy squeaks. She becomes quite stressed about it and whines, licks it and cuddles into it as if she thinks it's a dead puppy or something. I was wondering could someone please tell me why she is behaving this way. Thanks, Angie.

Hi.rnrnAs a springer my dog is,quite nervous and anxious.he will bark at any loud noise auch as car doors slaming outside the house or the wheelie bins.rnwhen he seems quite anxious -if say we have had a walk and he felt stressed with the crowds(he was not well enough socialised as a young pup) he sometimes later exhibits a fear aggression where if he is acting out and is told off he will run under the table and start barking and acting like he is trying to chew on something/anything that's near. We have been socialising him a lot more and I do a few training obedience sessions with him every day.with this his aggressive episodes are much less but I would still like help and advice on how to manage it better.otherwise he is a fun, happy, playful pup with a very good and gentle nature so I would like to nurture that and help him feel less stressed and anxious. He is neutered.
