I will take Daisy for a nice, long walk. She will usually pee right away. We will walk and walk, but she will not pee again or poop. We not sooner get back into the house, and she poops and/or pees in the kitchen. In the morning, she immediately goes out and does her business with no problems. She is crated during the day but I have a dog walker that comes and feeds her lunch and takes her out for a long walk and play time. I don't understand why she can be outside for over 1/2 hour and not do her business and go in the house. Any suggestions?

Problem #1 and most important - sibling rivalry: We rescued Missy when she was 18 months old. She had trust issues and we believe she was abused. After 2 years, we resolved a lot of the trust issues and since she is a high energy dog, we decided to rescue another dog since she played well with other dogs at the dog park. We rescued Dakota, a one year old female hound/shepherd mix. Things went well initially but now, after a year, Missy is trying to assert more dominance over Dakota to the point where Dakota won't let us play with her for what appears fear of Missy's reaction. There have been several times where we have had to separate them because of Missy's aggressiveness. We really need to stop this behavior now. Since they played rough from the beginning, is it too late to change this behavior? Dakota is so happy when we bring Missy to the vet or groomer - you can tell. We would like both dogs to be happy - is it still possible?rnrnProblem #2 - barking: Missy was not a barker until we got Dakota. We believe Dakota was an outside dog and probably neglected. She barks at passerbys, trucks, squirrels, etc. Now Missy is following suit. Can we train a 4 year old and a 2 year old not to bark or not to bark excessively?

My friend has a great pyrenees rescue dog that goes into a crazed frenzy whenever he sees the cat I just re-homed with her. He chases the cat and cannot be distracted or called off. Because of his massive size, she is unable to pull him off the cat. How can we get this huge dog to stop going into a full-blown bloodlust chase after the cat? Please help as the cats future in this home depends on it!
