I have a 15 month old and she will be 19 months when we bring our dogs home to ga from Colorado. Scooter is an anxious dog and has been aggressive to strangers. I need help with this and with making sure he doesn't hurt my daughter. I had my daughter in Korea and scooter saw her for a week when she was 6 months and then I deployed. Now she will be reunited with scooter and ranger. I am not worried about ranger. But he does have behavior issues of being stubborn.

My miniature dachshund has been showing major signs of territorial aggression for awhile now. Whenever he is around strangers or other dogs he growls, barks, and sometimes even lunges at them. He is especially aggressive towards little kids. He has never bit anyone yet but I am hoping to correct the problem before it ever gets to that point. He seems to show the most aggression when someone he has never met enters our home. How can I correct this problem??

Both are male.rnBoth dogs, have been together for several years, up until about a month ago, they have been completely inseparable, Russel is deaf, and has relied on Cosmo for his hearing for the most part. They still seem to get a long very well except for during the night. About a month ago, we made some changes in the bedroom, (which changes has always happened around these dogs, never have had a problem), one of the changes was taking their huge kennel down and putting it in storage, another was getting a new bed, that is bigger then our old one. These 2 changes happened on the same night. Every night Russel gets off the bed several times, and paces around the bed, until one of us wakes up to motion for him to get back up. If we don't wake up, he will growl and bark. Well the last week Cosmo has been attacking aggressively at Russel when he jumps back up onto the bed.... Usually Russel is the alpha dog, and does not allow Cosmo to behave this way. However Russel has been backing down, this only happens at night, any other time, everything is the same as it has been. What is GOING on???
