Ive got a question regarding my dogs behavior when we’re on walks and outside on the leash. She has leash aggression/fear based aggression I believe. When we are inside she will bark at people walking past and when we are outside on leash she will bark and lunge at people walking past, even worse if they have a dog! She does great at dog parks and such which is why I think its a leash/stranger issue...wondering on some tips for how to work with her on that?I know she respects my authority as the ‘leader’ but I can’t seem to break this one habit of hers, and its a pretty embarrassing one when were on walks! I feel like I’ve tried everything!

Hi! My husband and I have a two year old male Doberman that has been in our house since he was a puppy. We spent a lot of time and energy with his training and he is the best dog I've ever had... However, we recently adopted another male Doberman that is about a year and a half old. He was rescued from a puppy mill where he was confined to a crate. He was completely emaciated and his growth has been stunted from being kept in such a small crate for his entire life. He is on the road to recovery and doing great. Our only problem is crate training. I know teaching him manners will take some time and consistency, but we can't trust him out of his crate at night or when we're not home. The second he goes into his crate he panics and it seems to be getting worse. We have made it comfortable & given him toys but I think he still associates the crate with his past. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

Lovely dog 115 lbs walks on a harness. 7 year old rescue. I have a tiny place in country no problems. I also have a rent stabilized apt I. NYC. When we even see another dog he howls repeatedly until we can't see dog then he howls if we get off elevator and there is a dog waiting to get in. It's loud and upsetting for everyone. rnHow can I get him to stop?
