Darwin, we call him "D" is a neutered four year old male Pit Bull. He's also a big baby. When we take him to the dog park to play the other dogs ignore him. "D" is content to get loves from the other owners, which is great. But it breaks my heart none of the dogs want to play with my boy. He does have two friends, another Pit Bull, "Tank" and a German Shepherd named "Jason" they carry on something fierce. Unfortunately they aren't always there. The other dogs that visit the park run the spectrum of Retrievers, Jack Russell's, Labradors, the so called family friendly dogs. rnIs it because my "D" is a bull in a china shop compared to them that they don't want to play? Or am I reliving my own childhood nightmares of being the outcast one the playground? Do dogs think like we do? It seriously breaks my heart.

My puppy keeps biting my sisters and I. He gets very excited when he's around us and wants to play but his have gotten a lot harder. We've consistently tried to do the bite inhibition training where we let out a yelp when he bites you and then you ignore him for 30 seconds, repeating it until he learns to be gentle with human hands, but it seems to not work at all. He constantly tries to go after our hands and feet aggressively. We've tried to replace our hands with a chew toy but he still tends to bite hard when we play. He even bites on my hair when I'm laying down. I know he just wants to play but his bites hurt to where none of my sisters want to play with him. Please help!!!!

My boxer just lost his two pack members this year. He has always been at the bottem of the ladder when it comes to being alpha. While his two male buddies were alive he was extra friendly with non pack dogs(the other 2 wernt) now that they have passed beavis has decided he wants to be alpha and is not getting along aswell with other dogs. He changed lit. over night. How can we fix this problem?

Marcus is totally housebroken while we are gone. However, at times when we are home, he will go into a bathroom and pee for no apparent reason . If we are eating and tell him he cannot have something, he will do this. When we take him away for a trip, he is fine. It seems like revenge type behavior but I read that dogs don't think that way.
I don't actually have a dog yet I've been doing a lot of thinking about getting a Pomeranian puppy but the problem is I work 4 nights a week 11pm-7am and didn't know if it's okay to leave a Pomeranian puppy at home while I'm at work? I live in an apartment complex and don't want to get noise complaints if it barks and cries I plan on taking a week off to train it and leave it for a few hours at a time at night and see how it does and have a larger pen to put it in and have puppy pads. I really want this puppy I just need some advice on if it's really possible to do this while working overnight. My parents and I got a Pomeranian when I was still at home at ten weeks and we crate trained her and she was fine and only had a few accidents in her crate but this was during the day I don't know if night will be different?
