We rescued Bentley. He apparently had been kenneled when punished or left for long period of times in it. He willingly won't go in it and when we leave him in it he barks constantly, pees and poops in it. We have another dachshund that is 11 and does just great so we thought Bentley would learn. We both work so this is a must. Also, I have had not much luck in potty training him. We are in a new home with wood floors and rugs and it is wearing on both my husband and I. He also has started to pee whenever he gets excited when we get home or someone comes over. We have owned to dachshunds and never experienced any of this. Their kennels were their safe and comfy spot.

We adopted chance in June, and she recently has started charging and trying to bite my son who lives here. We don't know what the trigger is that causes her to attack growling and baring her teeth - she is like a different dog. He is grown man and does not do anything to stress her except to walk into the house, and she doesn't always get hostile.

We've had Marley since she was two months old. We've tried to get her socialized with other dogs. After taking her to the dog park a few times I've noticed that she does her greet with another dogs but when they come close to me or my mom, she'll snap at them. This has happened a few times. On the street, she does fine with other dogs while I'm walking her but I almost seems like once she sees other dogs come close to us, she gets jealous. Sometimes it happens, other times she would even be okay with us petting another dog. What could the problem be and how can we correct this?

I just adopted a large breed puppy. My brother has a small breed dog that he brings over a lot. My puppy is trying to chase and play with the small dog, but he's overwhelming him. How can I get them used to each other, and keep the puppy from chasing and accidentally hurting the small dog? Thanks.
