I am unsure of what is causing my dogs new behavior. All of a sudden he is peeing in the house and going through the trash even though nothing is in there. I can leave to check the mail for no more than 10 minutes and he will pee on my friends things and have trash scattered throughout the house. He has also bitten two people recently. This is extremely out of character for him. He has never bitten anyone, did not use to pee in the home or eat the garbage but since he turned 9 in October his personality has shifted. I need help understanding him so that I can get to the root of the issue versus being angry about his behavior. Thank you for your assistance.

How to make my dog listen to me and see me like a pack leader

This question is about: Toileting

Recently we took in a kitten. Shortly after, our dog started urinating on our bed, usually when my boyfriend and I are sleeping but not always. She urinated on her bedding a couple times as well. She has not urinated on the floor. She had never done this before the kitten arrived. We tried keeping her off the bed but she whimpers and barks in the crate at night. We are out of ideas and losing a lot of sleep but we refuse to give up on our girl. Please help!

My husband's brother has a half pomeranian half husky puppy that loves to play with my dog. Her name is Kropka. However, she is extremely high energy and plays rough with my dog. She is about 10 pounds bigger and much stronger than my dog. At first, they seemed to be getting along great. But after a while we noticed our dog start hiding, barking and now she even growls when the other dog is there. it seems like no matter what she does, kropka does not stop coming after her. She will mount her, nip her, and chase her even when Melka is frustrated and growling. rnrnWe are very close with Kropka's owners and don't want to separate the dogs completely. However, I'm scared my dog is starting to become aggressive/nervous because of this behavior. How can I correct it? We are signing both pups up for a doggie day care - is this a bad idea? Should I stop the dogs from playing altogether?

My puppy is extremely smart, in fact I taught him paw yesterday after just two tries but when it comes to the word "no" he just can not grasp it. We have an issue with nibbling and excessive barking. We try to tell him no, when he bites but he doesn't understand. Is there a better method to get him to learn the command to stop doing something? The other problem we have is with potty training, he does really well during the day and will go outside and alert when he needs to go out but during the night, he will pee and poop in the house typically 2-3 times throughout the night. Is there something we can do to fix this? Thanks.
