How do I get my dog to behave calmly around other dogs? She lunges, cries and barks at other dogs on walks (and squirrels). She is so bad it is hard to hold her back, some people even grab their dog and quickly go the other way. She used to be better. She used to see another dog and wants to sniff and play but easily controllable, now it seems more aggressive. I would like to get to the point when she doesn’t notice other dogs and squirrels.

My new older male dog and my other male dog keep getting into fights mainly instigated by my new dog (drogo). I don't believe it to be pure aggression so much as a defensive, drogo and colton (my other male who is a pure bred lab) usually have no problem but in the three months we've had drogo they've been in around 4 or 5 fights. Our lab is not a fighter and always ends up the one pinned, but however he has only been harmed once and it was a slash on the ear. Their most recent fight by the time we got them apart drogo had his teeth wrapped around colton neck and if it had been aggression he would've killed him but instead colton didn't have an ounce of blood on him. Anyways, in order to train this defensive attack out of him I have thought of muzzling him, but it would have to be a majority time muzzling and I just wanted a professional opinion on this.
Lupe asks...This question is about:
Can an aggressive & constant jumping behavior be reversed? rnI rescued Reba from her owner who was going to drop her off at the shelter because she out grew her cuteness. Her previous owner used to keep her in a kennel 24/7 except when she was home after work. Afterwhich Reba was confined to a bedroom. When she did get around to playing with her, she teased her to jump higher & higher each time. rnrnAnyway, I have 5 other, (10 to 15 lb) dogs that were pretty stable until Reba came into the picture. She attacks the dogs when they all come to greet me when I come home. If we are playing in the yard and any one of the dogs gets close to the fence to bark at a dog on the other side she attacks the dog inside the fence. I have tried to correct her with a rolled up paper but she still does it when I step away. This is causing the insecurity within the pack and the smallest one is starting to be very skittish. Can you please provide any pointers?

She knows and responds to down command inside house. Outside she appears to show avoidance when I present down command. She just sits and looks around. I wait it out but it seems I am spending a longer time waiting. She will generally go down however with food as a lure. How do I get her past this?
