Hi, I have three dogs currently. Our first two, buddy and Allie, have been living together for about two years. We just got a new dog, Matt, for my boyfriend's job. He works security so Matt is trained for that. He is a big dog compared to my Chihuahua and I am very nervous around them. How do I have buddy and Allie meet Matt without having the dogs get aggressive?rnrnWe currently are separating the dogs in rooms or cages so they're not all out at the same time. rnWe have been walking them together, two at a time so they all know that the others are part of the family. We have tried walking side by side and also towards each other so the dogs see face to face but not up close. rnrnBuddy and Matt met in our apartment on leashes and there was a little bark from both of them so we haven't done that again. And Allie has barked at Matt whole she's in the cage and he is out.

This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger

Hello, rnSo a few months ago I had some neighbors move into the rent house next door. Well these neighbors have two large, intact male Pitt bull type dogs. These two dogs are quite aggressive with each other and get into some pretty nasty fights regularly. I have noticed lately the more they get into fights, the more riled up my dog Wally (he's a neutered staff terrier mix) is getting. Well just now the two dogs next door got into a pretty bad fight next to my fence, which in turn got my dog very riled up and instead of just barking like he normally does and going inside when I say, he started biting the fence (I presume trying to get in on the fight) and would not listen period. My dog has never really been in an actual full on dog fight. He does tend to get snippy when his food is down and there are other dogs around, but nothing that's actually ever hurt another dog (and that's because he used to have my cousins dog attack him and steal his food). I've even had a few other dogs in the time frame of having him. What would cause his growing aggression when these two get into fights? And is it anything I can fix?

This question is about: Toileting

My dog has recently started acting terrified of the outside. I will take her out and her tail tucks between her legs and she won't go potty. She is fine when we go to the park just not okay with the front of our house. She won't go poop outside and will poop immediately when we get inside. What can I do to make her not so terrified of our front lawn?

This question is about: Destructive chewing that results in destruction of furniture, woodwork etc

My dog will not stop chewing up things around the house. She is an outside mostly dog, with our other 5 yr old dog Levi, that has full range of the yard, no fence, but an underground fence. She has taken the wiring out of my brother's car. Chewed up the bumper of the brand new car my parents just bought. Destroyed the wooden fence protector we have around our trash cans, and many other problems with destructive chewing. I am away at college and my parents' patience is very thin. I have tried deterrents with no avail and am at the end of my rope. She is fun and playful with the other dog, they get along very well so I don't see how it can be depression or anything if that sort. Please help. I want to keep my dog but my parents have spent $200 dollars last week fixing her damages and will not do anymore.
