This question is about: Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise Separation Anxiety

How can I get her separation anxiety to go away? It's not too bad, but she constantly howls till she's panting when we're away. We have tried stuffed Kong's and treats before we leave. She whines when we're getting ready, even if we're in a different room with the door closed. We can't even take a shower without her whining and barking.rnWe've tried everything I've read and nothing has helped.

This question is about: Puppy Management Toileting

I am having trouble potty training my 9 month old toy poodle. I have been rewarding her with treats whenever she pees or poops on a pee pad. Some days she does very well and does everything on the pad like I want her to. Other times, she will pee or poop wherever she wants. rnrnBefore I go to bed, I gate her up in a bedroom and tell her to go potty. Sometimes she does well. In that case, I praise her and give her a treat. Other times she will go in front of the pads, or even right in front of the gate.rnrnI don't know what else to do. I reward her when she does well and scold her when she doesn't go on the pads. This has been ongoing since last fall.

This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger Puppy Management Separation Anxiety Toileting

I have two problems. The first one is we cannot get her to go to the bathroom outside. We let her out play with her then give her time to do her stuff but she won't. She goes on the potty pad as soon as she comes in. My second problem is she doesn't like little kids. I have a 3 year old nephew who she has nipped at. We don't know how to break her of it.

This question is about: Toileting

My dog asks to go outside and go potty, we bell trained him. He is crated at night and never has accidents in his kennel. He is crated overnight for 6 hours, then 3 more hours after that. However, when he is awake he goes out to pee every 10-20 mins sometimes. Recently I kept track and he rang the bells 5 times in 40 mins and went out and peed every single time. Shouldn't he be able to hold his bladder longer than this? If he had a UTI wouldn't he be peeing in his kennel at night?
