Sam has been pooping in our basement since wr recently moved to a new house. He refuses to poop in the backyard. He will go in the school yard across the street and on a walk but he absolutly refuses to go in our yard. Wr have put his poop in the yard so that he can smell it, we have tried crating him in which he finds a way out and we habe blocked off the stairs and he somehow continues to get down there. Ge is an escape artist and we are at our wits end on hoe to fix it. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks

Hello, rnrnMy dog has been living with my family in Lebanon for 6yrs, I recently moved to NY and took him with me for 2months. rnHe adapted and was really happy, but I had to bring him back home for the summer. rnExcept, my dad is being difficult and doesn't want him running around the house anymore because of his hair loss. rnSo he came home for a day, saw everyone and our other dog but then I had to take him to my mom's house who was with us in NY for 2 weeks and he got to know her and he likes her but he is not very attached to her. rnI want to know if my dog would be happier if I trimmed his hair and kept him in his old home but in my room all the time (170 sqft), with our other dog running around or should I keep him at my mom's and visit him everyday? rnI am taking him back to NY with me in 4 months. It's a lot of moving and so a lot of stress for him, I want to make this as easy as possible for him. rnrnThank you for your assistance,rnGuilda Sfeir.

We adopted our dog two years ago from a friend who's son was having allergy issues. The problem is that the dog still pees on everything in the house and has dominance issues. He does not pee in front of us so it is hard to stop him. Need help!

I need help, my dog Chewie knows how to ring the bell, and will definitely ring it, but he doesn’t ring it on his own to let me know he needs to go. When I am working (from home), or just at home, I need for him to let me know. Right now he will only ring it when I get up and tell him it’s time to go “outside” “potty” and when I walk over to the door. I don’t feel like he is fully potty trained until he can let me know that he needs to go outside. I don’t know what to do. Any suggestions?rnrnAlso, he sleeps in his crate at night in my bedroom and does really well through the night, no whining/barking or anything when it is time to go to bed, but when I have to leave the house and put him in the crate, he starts barking. He only cries for about 5-10 minutes, but I do have downstairs neighbors and would love to help him be completely comfortable with me leaving. Any suggestions?
