Sully is a rescue dog which we have had since April. He has developed the bad habit of biting people. But is not consistent. One day a person is best friends, and the next day that person may pet him and that's when he bites. I'm looking for information on breaking him of this habit and/or enrolling him in a dog obedience class.

We have a beautiful German Sheppard name Sam. Before we got him (just before teething) it was understood he had been abused. Sam is very passive and mostly scared of everything. However, he has once again bitten my son. He appeared to be confused that my son had food he wanted. This would be the third time this has happened to my son. Sam is has been neutered and is a much better listener. He is primarily taken care f myself and older son. He is very protective and gets along with my younger son although he seems to not like him. I don't want to loose Sam but I cannot have him biting my son. I would hate him to bit someone else by accident. He's a very good dog, lives inside, potty trained, doesn't bark unless there is cause, and gets along with people. He's just getting to know other dogs. Want do I do to prevent anymore harm to my son? This behavior is only recent, last 18 months.

I installed an underground electric fence a couple of years ago. Duke appears to be untouched by the fence and continuously goes out of the yard. It is very frustrating. I am attached to Duke but ready to give him away. Do you have any suggestions?
