This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise Destructive chewing that results in destruction of furniture, woodwork etc Digging Hyperactivity Jumping up at visitors or the dog jumps up at people on walks Separation Anxiety

My dog has severe separation anxiety. She becomes very destructive when I leave her alone. She barks, chews, scratches the walls, floors/carpet until it needs to be replaced and her nails are chipped. I got her a crate, which she likes when I'm home but as soon as I leave the house she's a wreck. Last week she busted through her metal crate, scratching herself severely, broke through the window AC unit and jumped out the front window of my house. I was only gone for a few hours. I exercise her before I leave and give her food and water, and I come check on her half way through my work day. If anything that makes it worse. I also give her treats when she goes in the cage, and lately have been giving her calming dog treats from Petco. I've also tried the thunder shirt. What can I do?

This question is about: Puppy Management

Whenever we go on walks or just walking around the house and another dog approaches Remy, she gets very excited. She's not aggressive whatsoever, so when another dog approaches her she gets very excited and wags her tale non stop and she gets down on her stomach and rolls over trying to play while the other dog may be growling or barking at her. I want to know if she can grow out of it or is it because she's really playful which is fine, but I don't want her to get hurt because of it.

My 2 dogs all of a sudden do not get along. They have been together all their life and 6 months ago they got into a fight and it has not stopped. We have to keep them apart, its like a territorial problem. 5 months before the fighting started we got a third dog and they are both okay with him. We take them on walks and they are all fine and when giving them treats they are ok. also when switching them in and out of the backyard to potty they are fine passing each other and we do not need to hold any of them. its when we are in the house when the dachshund acts up and they start barking at one another and will go towards the other if we are not there. I took the dachshund to a vet and they say he is fine. He just acts like a different dog now and I do not know what to do anymore, we have tried everything.

I rescued Cooper about 9 months ago. Every pup I have had has been a rescue and I have always been able to get past/correct issues. Cooper is a fearful dog. Biggest is stairs. I have tried everything...1 stair at a time, treats, praise. Also, now is afraid to go outside after dark because of the fireworks. Just not sure what he has been through and how help him get past these issues.
