Hes been biting my daughter the past two months when ever she takes him in when he wants to keep playing or when he wants to play he'll bite her hands and arms but he's never growled before so i don't think he knows how at least not yet and he only bites other people when they try to stop him from bitting her. I heard from someone that its because he believes he's her sibling but when ever she tries to show dominance by holding him down while hes biting or pushing him away it doesn't work. He doesn't care whatever we do. When she ignores it the little nips will turn in to full on bites and she has to push him off. Even if u walk away he'll try to bite your back. My husband is they alpha of the family pack so he never bites him unless their playing rough. Also if she tries to give him a toy to stop the biting he'll turn away and continue to go after her.rnrnHow do we fix this.rnrn(We haven't taken him to dog training yetrnAnd he's not fixed )

Dog barks at the door when people come up the driveway and while they come to the door. In-laws took her to the vet who said to give her a treat everytime she does it. Its supposedly supposed to "take her mind of the barking." This doesnt sound right. It sounds like they are rewarding the dog for barking at the door. Just like you would train any dog with treats. This sounds like it would reinforce the behavior rather than stop it. Any thoughts or ideas?

I am a sheriff's dept K9 handler. I picked up a new dog and he absolutely refuses to get in a vehicle, or his crate at home. If you force him in, he completely shuts down. I don't know how to have a police dog that shuts down every time I put him in the car to go to work.

Hello. I have a service dog in training for my epilepsy and I am almost a year into training. My personal trainer had to quit because of family problems and I am left to fend for myself for the time being. My problem is when I am out in public and doing my daily tasks like grocery shopping (trying to be normal like every other person and it's almost impossible) and people sneak up and make noises and try petting my dog and lunging tours her. I step in front of my do to tell the person that she is not to be petted but It would be so nice to know how to teach her to ignore people when they make noises to gain her attention or try petting her- overall ignoring people completely and only concentrating on me and only me.
