Toki is two-year-old un-neutered male, he's always been good with new dogs and the family dogs that he lives with. But about a week ago he started to regularly pick fights with not only stranger dogs, but dogs he's been friends with and lived with his whole life. He'll start lunging at them and growling, he'll then bite their neck or face and started thrashing them and he won't let go. Not only that but he'll continually try to go after them and attack them. It's out of nowhere an unprovoked from the other dogs, who used to be his friends. He attacks him so badly that he punched holes into their skin ripped them open and made them bleed all over. Now the dogs are afraid to come around him. We got him a muzzle so that he can play outside without hurting any of them. The muzzle fits him so that he can still open his mouth and drink water from his muzzle, but he still tries to pick fights with other dogs. When the fights break out we try to break them up calmly and separate the dogs so that they can all calm down we try not to punish him to harshly but rather just concentrate more on separating them and calming him and the other dog down. We also made an appointment to have him neutered but we don't know what to do otherwise.

My dog bites on everything and when we say no he bites one us and snarls at us. We have plenty of toys but he just won't listen. I know he is young and could possibly be teething but he is showing plenty of signs of aggression and i need help on it. How do i calm him down not to bite? How do i stop him from getting mad and biting us?

My 3 month old pup Baloo has been harassing my sweet 13yr old lab Ebony. Baloo incessantly bites at her legs and ears when he's in a playful mood. Ebony is not in the slightest bit interested in playing and growls/snips at him when he gets too rough. But Baloo in response to her warnings gets increasingly more rambunctious. How do I train him to play more gently? Or at least stop when Ebony has had enough? I've been trying to reward him with treats when he does treat her nicely but he's so persistent when he's trying to play with her.

Our Aussie attacked our Maltese cross while we were at work. We ended up having to rush her to the vet and she lost an eye and was hurt badly. Roxy has killed a couple of chickens over the last few years and more recently (this spring) a couple of kittens a local farm cat had. She is wonderful and obedient with people and has never been a threat, But with dogs she is very Alpha and lets them know she is the boss. She and our Maltese have always gotten along until this. We don't want to put her down but don't see any other recourse. We have talked to our vet and shelters who agree that most likely once this behavior starts its very hard to correct. I just dont feel safe even letting her in my house and she is currently out in our dog kennel until we decide what to do. What do you think?
