Hello! I have a question about traveling with a young dog. I've had my pup Rooney since he was six weeks old and so far he's been great in the car. He is happy to hop in whenever we go places and usually just relaxes in the back. rnrnBut I'm planning a huge summer-long road trip across the United States in a few months, and while I really want to take him along, it's a loooot of hours in the car for him. If I stop every few hours to let him stretch his legs will that be enough? He has a lot of puppy energy but all the car traveling we've done together so far has been great. I don't know enough about dogs to tell if it will be torture for him. He'll be seven months by the summer. rnrnPlease let me know and thank you so much!

Last week during the snow storm, I witnessed a dog fight. One dog was clearly dominating the other and was larger. They were locked onto one another's muzzles. There were also hysterical children present. I was the first adult to get to the dogs, but have never attempted to break up a dog fight. What is the appropriate action to take?

My puppy has been crate trained and she goes to obedience classes and so far has been a very good dog. However this week we are house sitting and the owners have an older dog that wants nothing to do with our puppy. The puppy is out of control around the old dog, and when we put her in her crate to calm her down she screams and barks uncontrollably. Right now we are ignoring her but it's been over an hour with no signs of wearing out. Are we doing something wrong?
