This question is about: Toileting

I have two dogs, one is 15 and not neutered because we were at one time going to breed but didn't then he got to old, and both males. My 5 yr old Dj has marked territory since we got him but over the yrs has been getting worse. We now have a 16 month old son and the marking has got worse and of coarse unsanitary. I am at my witts end, we have potty trained and kennel trained but if he is not in kennel or outside he marks all over the house, so badly that you can not leave anything laying on the floor including toys. If we can't fix this now I have to get rid of him. I am very desperate please help!

This question is about: Puppy Management Toileting

Hi, rn Our samoyed puppy is doing great with her training but, recently she will pee outside and then come inside...wait a few minutes and pee again. We can't figure out why and wondering what to do to arrest this behavior. Any suggestions? Thanks!

This question is about: Toileting

When we first got my Siberian husky, Lucy, she learned very quickly to use puppy pads and she went outside in a designated area as well. However, about a month or two ago we both hit a snag at work and were working very hectic hours. She went from being taken out constantly to only when we get up at 5 and get home at almost 7 and whenever else before bed. She still does the pads really well but all of a sudden she refuses to poop outside. She will pee but not poop. I watch her constantly, and when I see her circling and sniffing I take her out, but still no poop. Its like she holds it until she goes back inside to do it on the pad. I watch her as much as I can but the moment I have my back turned she goes to poop. Could it be something we did that makes her not poop outside? Is it that she's too used to doing it inside now?
