This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger

Hi!rnI am writing to you because I have a dog issue.rnMy brother and my dog were always playing around. My dog was pinching him and he was like throwing him at her. They were rolling around on the floor and so. I always said that it is not good, because she won't know the rules, and my parents told me to let them be »puppies«. So her aggression towards him is now growing. Today she bit him while he wanted to put her in her cage. But she doesn’t show any aggression towards my 1 year old brother. If he wants to he pulls her toy right out of her mouth. The same he does with her food. And if she growls at him he just punches her (as 1 year old can punch). rnMy dad said to me that if something like that ever happens again she will have to go away. So can you help me with any advice?rnWith best regards,rnAna Pretnar

I like to run with my dog and he really enjoys it too as long as we are out on the trail and he is off leash. When I put him on the leash or run on paved surfaces (roads, lake path) especially if there are cars or people, he always puts on the breaks and drags behind me when we turn to head home. It doesn't matter of we are running 2 miles or 10- he keeps up on the way out and drags from the half way point all the way home. I know it's not because he's tired- he runs back and forth on the trails and does double the distance I do and his behavior doesn't seem to be linked to longer distances. rnSo why doesn't he want to run towards home and is there anything I can do? I would love to be able to take him with me all of the time but most days he doesn't get to come since I can't have him slowing me down.

have a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old chihuahua. In the last 8 months or so the 5 yr old has been peeing on the kitchen floor. Only at night. We have a box with grass in it in the kitchen and he will use it all day when we are gone and even poop in it at night, but pees on the floor at night. He will also come up to me and want to be picked up, but when I go to pick him up he growls. He will show his teeth. He wont bite, but it takes me a few minutes to get him to stop. He will growl at the 2 yr old chihuahua in the evenings. Not sure what to do.rnSherrie

I've raised my female pit bull cocoa since the day she was able to leave her mom which was about two years ago. She also has been raised with my pug dog from about the time I got her. Last night she viciously attacked the pug she had a good grip on his neck and nothing we did could get her off. He wasn't majorly hurt but at the moment we weren't quit sure. She had her first litter about eight months ago and has been acting a little different ever since. Shes never had this problem. Is this an issue that can be handle or will I have to get rid of her?
