About Five years ago we signed up with BarkBusters for our pet Havanese named Roxy. I believe it was a life time plan, however I don't know if that meant Roxy's lifetime or my lifetime.rnI have misplaced the papers. I know it was an expensive plan and the teacher only came here I believe twice.rnrnMy question, we now have a new puppy and is giving us a challenge. Do we still have the benefit from the plan we paid for and didn't really use.?

My neutered dog seems to always growl and want to bite when we try to pet him either when he is lying down or when he lies on his back in a submissive pose or really at any time unless he initiates the petting by sitting by us and rubbing his head against our hand. How can I reward him for being submissive when he's still not actually being submissive?

Luke is neutered and he LOVES to steal things that aren't his like clothing, paper, anything that can fit into his mouth. Sometimes he will allow me to take out what is in his mouth and other times he will not open his mouth and when I try to open it he growls, lifts his upper lip and his pupils dilate. rnrnMy mother told me when he steals something he will allow her to open his mouth to retrieve the object and has only growled at her once. But with me he growls, lifts his upper lip, and does try to bite me sometimes when I go to retrieve the item…rnrnI always try to assert my dominance with him and be the alpha dog, though with him it can be tough sometimes but I keep at it. Luke does like to steal our food too as well. When he gets close to my food I stare at him and tell him "No!". When that doesn't work I do make a growling noise and it does work usually and he backs off. I have no idea if this little bit of information will help….rnrnHe's started this growling when he gets something for a few months now, but today he did nick me on the hand. This is his only aggressive/possessive behavior and I really don't want anything bad to happen to myself or anyone else. I hope you can help me.rnrnMany thanks!

I used Karen a BarkBuster trainer in this area to train Teddy when he was a puppy but he was always nervous around strangers and yapped. Now he is aggreesive if anyone comes close to me or my husband and snaps. I am afraid he will hurt someone and I tried to contact her again because she told us if we needed additional training it was included in the original charge. However I am unable to contact her. Please advise.

We are currently 2 households wanting to marry and condense into one. However, the man has a male pitty who was a rescue dog 2 years ago, and he is people and kid friendly, but dog aggressive. He looks at my 3 Chihuahua's like they are appetizers. I couldn't ask him to give Grady up, who was adopted after his wife past away. I have one 12 years, another going on 6 and the latest is a rescue for a year now. They are my babies. How can we train him not to harm my dogs? Georgia
