my dog refuses to eat over her dish. she will take a mouthful of food out of her bowl, walk across the room, drop it on the carpet, and eat from there. We have tried moving her food bowl to see if that was the issue but she continues the behaviour. I have heard that maybe it is the noise from the bowl, but she has eaten from a metal bowl her entire life. We have no other dogs. We do have a cat who is definitely 'alpha', but she doesn't bother Luna while she is eating. Is there any way to stop this behaviour? Thanks!

This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger Destructive chewing that results in destruction of furniture, woodwork etc Hyperactivity Jumping up at visitors or the dog jumps up at people on walks

I own a year old blue staffordshire bull terrier and he has some serious issues that I myself have attempted to deal with and have had no luck. We never taught him to stop biting and jumping when he was a puppy, so now he has become very spoiled. He is calm for the most part when you first go out and start petting him, but the minute you stop he jumps up and begins to bite our arms, legs, anything. His bites are extremely painful too. He does not respond to verbal commands such as no, or any form of yelling or loud command. He also does not respond to a tap on the nose, or a slight nudge in the lower back. Nothing is working, and he is getting worse and worse!!! We don't have the money to hire any sort of trainer, does anyone know what I can do???

How can I get my dog to stop messing in his kennel? I purchased a smaller one than he had before thinking that would help. I come home almost every day and he's either soiled or urinated eaten or played in it. I take him out and I feel like he's holding it because he knows he's going to be put in the kennel when I leave. He was a rescue and we had no issues the first few weeks.
