RULES/GUIDELINES:
- Entrants/Winners must be legal residents of the U.S. who are 18 years of age or older at the time of contest entry.
- Entrants must be the sole owner and copyright holder of the photo submitted to the photo challenge.
- Entrants may only submit ONE photo per email address. If you submit more than one photo per email address, all of your photo submissions will be disqualified.
- Pets who appear uncomfortable will not be considered.
- Deadline for photo submission is 11:59 pm PST on March 18, 2010.
- All submissions become property of Bark Busters. No correspondence about submissions will be answered.
- By submitting your photo to the Bark Busters photo challenge, you give Bark Busters and its agencies an irrevocable perpetual royalty-free right to publish, use, adapt, edit and/or modify your entry photo in any way, in any and all media worldwide, without limitation, and also constitutes your irrevocable assignment and transfer to Bark Busters of all right, title and interest in the entry photo, including without limitation, all copyrights, without further consideration.
- By submitting your photo to a Bark Busters photo challenge, you give Bark Busters and its agencies permission to use your name, hometown, likeness, photograph, statements or prize information for advertising and publicity purposes worldwide without limitation and without additional compensation.
JUDGING AND SELECTION OF FINALISTS:
Qualified entries will be uploaded and featured on the Bark Busters website from February 8, 2010 through March 18, 2010. A panel of judges at Bark Busters will choose 5 finalists. The panel of judges will select finalists based on the pets' photogenic quality, creativity of the picture and the written description telling us about the pet, why the costume was picked and what qualities make the pet unique.
The 5 finalists determined by the panel of judges will be notified by email no later than 12:00 pm PST on March 22, 2010. The 5 finalists’ photos will be featured on the Bark Busters website from March 22, 2010 through 11:59 pm PST April 19, 2010 allowing the public to vote for their favorite entry.
Consumers may only submit ONE vote per email address. The top three photos with the most votes will be deemed the Grand Prize winner, 2nd Place winner and 3rd Place winner based on the most votes received from the public. Winners will be notified by telephone and email no later than 12:00pm PST on April 21, 2010 and featured on Bark Busters website. The selection process will be conducted under the supervision of Bark Busters, whose decisions are final and binding.
PRIZES:
Grand Prize: The winner will receive a Bark Busters Gift Basket (valued at $100) PLUS $500 will be donated to SPCA International or a Local Animal-Related Charity of the winner's choice. The Grand Prize winner will be determined by the number of votes received by www.BarkBusters.com site visitors between March, 22 2010 through 11:59 pm PST on April 19, 2010. Limit one prize per individual/family or household.
Second Place: The winner will receive a Bark Busters Gift Basket (valued at $75). The second place winner will be determined by the number of votes received by www.BarkBusters.com site visitors between March 22, 2010 through 11:59 pm PST on April 19, 2010. Limit one prize per individual/family or household.
Third Place: The winner will receive a Bark Busters Gift Basket (valued at $50). The third place winner will be determined by number of votes received by www.BarkBusters.com site visitors between March 22, 2010 through 11:59 pm PST on April 19, 2010. Limit one prize per individual/family or household.
PRIZE ACCEPTANCE:
Winner(s) must complete, execute and return an affidavit confirming the winner’s identification and eligibility. If such document is not returned within fourteen (14) days of the date sent, or if any prize notification is returned as non-deliverable or any winner if found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these official rules, disqualification may result. Failure to sign and return this form when requested may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner. In the event of a dispute as to identity of any online entrant, entrant will be deemed the individual named on the online entry form.
