We cannot believe how good Ike is since your visit. He is a different dog, or maybe we are different? Thank you.

-- John Schwarz, Chicago, IL (Trainer: Robyn Pope)
The training is going well. I've actually been out of town since Monday, so my husband has been the one to really be with him everyday. But even as early as Sunday when I took him on a walk, he was much better...no pulling. I've checked in with Steve everyday to see how the pup is doing, and I've good reports. Of course, he still gets huffy when he sees another dog, but not rabid like he used to be.

Hi Robyn, I just wanted to let you know that Oliver is doing really well since you were here -- our walks are actually fun now. I think I've finally established my authority and gotten his respect! Thanks again.

Our dog responded immediately to the training. He now knows that we are the BOSS!!

Robyn is great! She has been patient with us and the dogs. We have 2 dogs which makes the training process more challenging. If something doesn't work, she always has another technique to try. One dog has severe separation issues, and she is committed to work with us until he feels safe & secure in his environment. It helps to look at things from the dog's perspective. Often times we tend to treat them as humans and get frustrated when they don't respond. Both dogs stopped jumping at the door by the end of the first session. The training methods are all common sense. We just didn't think to try them till Bark Busters came along. It's simple and it works.

I want to share with you my experience with one of your trainers, Robyn Pope. My husband and I signed up to work with Robyn through Bark Busters Chicago during 2005, and were extremely impressed with her upbeat and positive attitude, professionalism, degree of expertise, sensitivity and maturity level. It is very obvious that Robyn has a passion for dogs, understands people, and truly enjoys her work. Robyn helped us with our rescue dog, Krieger, who had obviously come from an abused and neglected past. Robyn quickly "connected" with Krieger, and was able to teach us techniques that were invaluable to helping Kreiger make the adjustment from the streets into our home. We would not have been able to accomplish what we did without her. Unfortunately, due to events beyond our control, Kreiger passed away. Robyn quietly stepped in not only to offer her heartfelt condolences, but to be supportive of us as well. She was able to encourage us to look beyond our sorrows and to consider another dog sometime in the future. We are so grateful for her compassion and wisdom. In fact, we recently brought home another dog, Lucy, who quickly became an important member of our family. This was something we may not have considered had it not been for the positive experience from having met and worked with Robyn. It is clear to us that Robyn is an outstanding individual both in her expertise of dog training and people in general. She takes into account both the dog and the person and adjusts her approach in a seamless and easy manner. We hope Robyn is recognized as a key individual to your organization for her outstanding knowledge of the business and expertise in the field.

I have a rott that I had gotten from the Chicago Dog Pound. She is the sweetest and most loving dog you could ever meet. But she needs a lot of training since she was badly abused. I have had several animals all my life and never got a dog this abused. She was full grown and did not even weight 30 lbs. She is now a 100lbs of solid muscle and a big baby. She loves children, babies, adults and cats. SHe is extremely friend but has several bad habits. She likes to chew on everything like my high heel, couches and pillows. She loved to play with my landscape rocks which of course ruined my landsacaping. Her main problem is she just would not listen to anyone when called. When I would try adn walk her on a leash I was the one going for the walk. Well now she does very well with walking on the leash now. Except of course when the neighbor kids call her she goes to them. I am trying to break her of that. Poppy is a very smart dog and stubborn. She also now listens better and comes when called. I can not believe that after 2 hours of working with this dog that she is so much better. I am also going to be trying the different types of dog that Robyn suggest that I try. I am hoping that will also help with her behavioral problems.

I adopted my 8-month-old puppy when he was 2 months old and I could not train him because he had pneumonia and he had no home before we adopted him so he had no training and he would bark and bark over and over again. So, we called Robyn and she helped us with Jodi and now he is a great dog he is quiet and hardly barks. Thank you, Bark Busters.
