AMAZING !! We have a minnie australian mix. Within 10 minutes of Michael meeting him, he was no longer jumping, scratching, or biting! I have a 6 year old special needs granddaughter who we had to keep by our side constantly for fear Max would bite her. Michael not only helped him to stop but provided a way for my granddaughter to be able to communicate with Max and stop his behavior if she had to do so on her own. Michael was with us for 2 hours but only about 45 minutes of that was spent actually training Max. By the time Michael left our home, my granddaughter was laying on the floor with Max. She was tapping his face and he wouldn't even open his mouth, where before he would have bitten her. I have to admit that bringing Michael into our home was one of the best decisions we ever made. |

Michael is AMAZING. We have a Shepard puppy. Within 10 mins of Michael arriving Maggie stopped nipping, jumping & her true calm personality came out. The way Michael teaches "Mom & Dad" to assist Maggie in her training is priceless. Not only is Michael great at what he does, he is also a caring person. I've asked all the "Mom" questions you could ask. He's always educated me with care...He understands the puppy is my child. But that I owe her the respect to be her pack leader. That once the ground work is set...We will have one of the most loyal, caring dogs ever. This is the only dog training you will need. Having Michael come to our house is awesome. Maggie is in her environment & it makes sticking with the training smoother for us. We are moving to another state soon...Bark Busters is honoring our contract there as well. We will be sad to leave Michael, but have faith that the brand will be carried on at our new home. Thank you Michael in this short time for showing us who our puppy is. And that she WANTS to be in our pack. People think that with training the dog is unhappy...I wish everyone could see how Maggie wags her tail & kisses you! She seems happy to us! ;) You are fantastic & we are truly grateful for you. |

Don't waste countless hours trying to lure Cesar Millan to your house when you can have the chance to access North Texas' best when it comes to training dogs. I was at my wits' end when I contacted Michael about my out-of-control Weimaraner. During our first conversation, I flat out told him he was my last hope. Sadie, our little girl, had a bad case of fear aggression at home and on the leash. We had a hard time with guests coming over and in turn had a hard time trusting her around our guests. Walks were a nightmare; she couldn't walk past people or other animals without a reaction. It got to the point where we could hardly take her out. My wife and I tried to find Sadie a new home, but it's hard to turn over a dog with these problems. We decided to try Bark Busters as a last resort. The first conversation I had with Michael gave me confidence that we might be able to conquer her problems, so we set up a date for a session. Michael knows his stuff, and it was evident when he walked through the door. He not only identified the problems with Sadie but did a great job of explaining to my wife and I how she got to where she is, and what the next steps to helping her are. With Michael's plan, consistency and constant check-ups, Sadie has become a new dog. She respects the boundaries we have laid out for her and has thrived with the balance in her life. Family members and neighbors can't believe the turn-around in her. She still has her moments, but as owners, we know it will take constant training to reach the pinnacle of her potential. So far it has been a great journey for my wife, myself and our four-legged companion. No matter what your dog's problems are, rest assured that Michael can help you. It will be the best money you ever spent, and the best experience you can ask for. |

My family owns a Staffordshire Terrier and she could be a BIG hand full and was very strong willed. I could not even take her on a walk without my hand and arm feeling like it was going to be pulled off my body. She was a chewer, mostly my 5year old's toys, shoes and clothes. My kids could not play in the back yard without her being in the house because she would try to trip them and herd them. Michael came to our home and taught me and my husband WHY she does what she does.(I have been to training classes before at the PET store and they never taught ME this!) Then proceeded to teach US how to stop it. Within a 20 min session, my Layla was coming when called (never happened before) sitting on command, laying down, and staying until she was released. Michael calls it a "sit/stay," not jumping on someone walking in the front door! Big improvement! She actually sits off the tile in our entry and waits to be released before greeting a guest. She lays by the swing set now and watches. No chasing and herding anymore! Walks.....are a breeze! She has slack in the lead and stays by my side (actually touching my leg) looking at me for commands the whole time. My 5 year old can walk her the same way I do! If he can do this for my HEAD STRONG baby Layla in a 20 min session. I know he can help anybody. It has now been over a year and Layla still responds the same way! Extremely impressed! We have a six-month-old Doberman that was half-way trained but had issues with licking, whining, rushing the door, getting on the furniture, etc. Michael came to our house and was here less than two hours and the dog is a different dog. I have my house back! I also have fallen in love with my dog all over again; it's just a deeper love this time. I would recommend this trainer to anyone, I had my doubts at first, but I am so glad that I went with my gut instinct to have him come over and show us what we were doing wrong. |

After losing a 12-yr-old German shepherd (retired police K-9) to old age, my daughter took loosing "Kaiser" very hard. Then I got hurt in an auto accident almost lost my leg. My daughter was given a GSD, "Hercules" to take away the loss of "Kaiser." With Mike Hoskinson's help, my 9-year-old daughter is now a "pack leader" and walking our ONE -year-old German shepherd around the neighborhood. Everyone can't believe that she has control of such a big and well-obedient dog. . . . .Mike Hoskinson is a great trainer. He can answer any question. He is very knowledgeable, personable and punctual, and the techniques are so easily understood that even children can understand. To say Mike is GREAT is an understatement. Mike Hoskinson is a definitely an asset to Bark Busters. |

I have a Rottweiler that was very dangerous, and allowed NO ONE in his territory (backyard). within five minutes of dealing with Zeus at the fence, he walked in the backyard without me our my family with him. An additional five minutes later, he had Zeus laying at his feet. Michael is by far the BEST dog trainer I have ever seen, and I have seen military dog trainers, he beats them!!! I HIGHLY recommend him. There has been a complete 180-degree turn in Zeus's behavior in just 3 training session with Michael. |
