Wendy Blanch was an amazing trainer! I was skeptical at first with her training techniques, but as time went on I saw improvement in my pitbull Rocko. She turned my aggressive pitbull into a nice and calm dog. Rocko has had social issues with people but with the lessons I have learned from Wendy, in 5 short weeks Rocko finally got to be around someone other than my roommates and I. I appreciate everything Wendy has done for me and Rocko, and the improvement he has made is unbelievable. Thank you so much Wendy! |

I wish everyone who is having issues with their pet could know about the fantastic work of Wendy Blanch at Bark Busters. I am so happy with the results in our dogs after just a few short hours of my family working with Wendy and our pets. We have two small ten pound dogs, a Maltese and a Malti-Poo, that had some very annoying habits. My husband and I spent three hours with Wendy and now just a few days later our life has changed dramatically for the better. Our two year old male Malti-Poo was a continual barker at anyone and anything that passed by our window or came into our house. He jumped on our guests legs and barked such a loud high pitched piercing bark when people came to the door of our house that I felt I should issue our friends ear plugs! Now after training with Wendy, he is calm sits quietly by the door and is a pleasure to be around. He also used to run frantically across our backyard barking for much of everyday. After training he walks calmly outside and gazes at people walking by without barking. My husband and I feel this is like a miracle that we wouldn't have believed if we hadn't witnessed it with our own eyes. Our Maltese had a cute habit of begging for a treat or attention by sitting up and waving her front paws at us or our guests which became very annoying because she did it constantly. After training she also is calmer and doesn't beg or wave at us throughout the day and we only give her a treat or attention when we want to. I am so impressed by Wendy's calm and knowledgeable personality and her way of training us. I was a second grade teacher for thirty plus years and I found through teacher training and experience what works best to introduce new skills to people. Wendy employs the "Best Practices" for teaching. She models the skill first, then gives instruction while we practiced the skill and then she watched while we independently practiced the skill and then gave us critique. My husband and I are extremely happy with our entire experience with the Bark Busters dog training program and we highly recommend it for anyone seeking to change an unwanted behavior in a dog. |

We were soooo lucky to have found Wendy Blanch as our Bark Buster's Dog Trainer. Our three labradors Bullet, Bella, and Bailey have done a 360 in less than a month. When Wendy first came to our house she could not even start the orientation of the program because all three of our dogs were barking and jumping on the back door. Within seconds of Wendy's noises and techniques they were quiet immediately and if they began again the techniques worked perfectly. All three are very hyper, but we knew with the right training they could be better under control. Even now our neighbors and our pool guy asked us how we got them to stop barking and we said Bark Busters and of course Wendy Blanch from Bark Busters. We now can get them to walk nicely and not worry about having to take one dog at a time outside. The other issue we had was with our Brown Lab Bailey. She loves the water but everytime we would go in our pool she'd jump on us and we couldn't enjoy it. Now she waits to be invited in and she understands not to jump on us. She can swim now with us and it is great to have fun with them in the pool. Lastly, we have begun taking them to the dog park with Wendy and her cute dogs. They had a blast and we are looking forward to finding other dog parks to take them to and have our main goal to be able to take them off leash to the dog beach in Huntington. Thanks Wendy for everything. Our puppies appreciate it as well. We look forward to continuing working with you as do Bullet, Bella, and Bailey. |

I have three dogs [Max, Charlie and Chloe], each with a distinct personality and walking "gait," requiring three separate daily walks. My family was becoming annoyed with the dogs' behavior whenever visitors arrived at our house (barking, nipping), so, as a Father's Day present, they offered to pay for a visit from Bark Busters. Wendy Blanch arrived at our house and, after only one visit, I can see incredible changes/improvements in the dogs' walks, especially the two little dogs, Charlie and Chloe. And my family can see improvements in their behavior when people enter our home. I didn't think that the dogs would respond to this training any time soon, but it was almost instantaneous, especially in the behavior during their walks. I would recommend Bark Busters to anyone who had a "problem child" dog or simply a dog that the owner wanted trained. Thanks Wendy. |

My husband and I own a 4-month-old Vizsla and were at our wits end with his aggressive snapping, incessant attention-seeking barking, and overall nasty teenage-like behavior whenever we would try and correct him. Being bred from a highly intelligent breed line, we knew that both our Vizsla and us were going to need training in order to have a happy and healthy relationship. Thus, on our own, my husband and I started obedience training early with him and by 3 ½ months he knew most all commands such as sit, stay, lay, wait, drop-it, etc. The real problem wasn't his obedience training, but his behavioral training. We had tried every positive reinforcement disciplinary tactic you could imagine when we finally went in search of a trainer to help us. However, each trainer that we took him to said that they recommended kenneling him for a minimum of 4 weeks at their facility so they could retrain him from the ground up. My husband and I were not fond of this idea as he was already very well obedience trained. Plus, we figured that it was a situation where our puppy just didn't respect us as the pack leader. Therefore, we felt that we needed someone to show us how to be an appropriate pack leader for our puppy while we were around. What's the point of sending him somewhere to respect someone else when the issue clearly lies with my husband and I? Yes, yes, they said that they would train us to be “the pack leader” after his 4 weeks were finished, but then my question was, why does he need to go away for 4 weeks if you've already admitted that he is very well obedience trained and it's a pack leader issue? Needless to say we kept looking for different trainers and on the recommendation of our vet, we stumbled across Wendy with Bark Busters. Wendy has been WONDERFUL to say the very least. The first day out, our puppy was a COMPLETELY different dog. He immediately started respecting my husband and I and we both actually made the comment that same night that “this is the best day we had ever had with our dog." The training techniques are easy to implement and the lifetime guarantee is priceless. With that said, we're still in the 5 week training session period and from time to time (and I'm sure for the rest of his life) he tests my husband and I to see if we really are the pack leaders. But if there is ever a problem or we feel that he is getting out of control, Wendy is always back at our house to reinforce the training that she initially taught us. Overall, my husband and I knew that the real issues were with us, so I guess we've really just been paying for us to get trained! :-) With that said, whether Wendy's training dogs or humans, she's wonderful and you will see results! |

OH MY GOODNESS! My life is wonderful. I have behaved dogs. Who knew this was possible? After just a few minutes with my dogs, Wendy was able to see my errors as the owner and helped empower me. I AM THE PACK LEADER! The problem was never my dogs. It was me. My dogs were outside most of the time because they misbehaved and I couldn't trust them around anyone but close family. They were disrespectful of humans and other animals. One of my dogs actually bit a neighbor and I thought I might have to put her down. I am so glad I found Wendy. Spice is now a happy and calm dog. Did I mention they have only had one session so far. The results are immediate. My dogs deserve this life and I am happy to give it to them. Proud to be the pack leader of inside doggies again. I can't imagine how superb they'll be when training is complete. If you have an aggressive dog or dogs you can't trust, you need Wendy. It's worth the investment. She will turn your life around. Literally. Thanks so much Wendy for helping us see our errors and making our pets family again. |

When we met Wendy, we had two out of control standard poodles. Ava was 4 1/2 and ZsaZsa was 7 months old. My husband was skeptical of going through "another" trainer. The girls were impossible to walk. They pulled us down the street and went crazy when anyone walked by with another dog. They went nuts when friends and family came to the door and we were always afraid they would run down the street if the door was left open. Within 2 visits with Wendy, the girls were manageable on a leash and sat and stayed when we opened the door to family and friends. After a couple of more visits, they heel all of the time when we walk them and with the right training tools & commands, they do not go crazy with other dogs and people. When friends come through the front door they sit politely until we release them. We love the positive training techniques we learned from Wendy and enjoy the girls so much more. To hear my husband give the commands and understand that he is the pack leader has been great and the frustration we had with them is gone. We cannot say enough great things about Wendy and the wonderful training she gave us. We can even take them to the dog park and they come at our command. We are big believers in the Bark Busters method and recommend Wendy to anyone who would like to have well behaved dogs. |

I was amazed! My dog (Penelope,) a 13-year-old Jack Russell, responded very well and I am being educated on how to be the pack leader of my home. A position I had allowed my naughty dog to assume over time. Wendy demonstrated excellent communication methods and the training material she left for me to review was an invaluable resource which solidified the reversal of pack leader from my dog to me! The Bark Busters "how to" methods, combined with in home training and techniques, are both effective and rewarding to both my dog and myself. We are two happy campers having fun that I didn't believe possible! Thank You Wendy and Bark Busters! |

After 4 years of living with behaviors I didn't want my dog to have, I thought the home dog training would take hours and hours of time commitments to fix the problems. Not so! After the first training session, my dog learned how to follow our commands and how to behave properly. My dog is no longer hyper and is much more relaxed—SO AM I! We can have friends over and not be embarrassed by our dog's behavior. Wendy is a great trainer and she is great to work with. |

WOW!!! Our first week (with many more to come) of peace, quiet, and harmony. We are just thrilled with the changes after only one lesson with Wendy. What was turning into a very stressful environment for us has become quite enjoyable for both us and the dogs. It's nice to be in control of our home again. We are looking forward to learning new things right along with the dogs. Thank you so much, Wendy. |
