We contacted Bark Busters as our last recourse for our dog's behavior problem, from the first time I spoke to Jodi (our Trainer) I felt like I had found someone very special and caring who took the time to listen to my story and had positive yet realistic feedback about our case. We have a 3 year old female Basset Hound who had an extreme toilet problem. From the time Sammy was a year old she began to pee randomly around our apartment, soon it turned out to be an everyday issue and even started to poop everywhere. We tried everything we could. We had experience with dogs in the past and we never came across a dog who did not even care that she was laying on her own waste. Obviously we were trying all the wrong things and doing most of it in the wrong way. During our first visit with Bark Busters, Jodi, explained that most behavior problems with dogs are initiated by the lack of communication between the dog and the owners. She gave us a long but very fun and interesting lecture about the things humans do in their everyday lives and the way those things impact the life of your dog....from the way you look at your dog to the way you interact and even show affection to your dog, could be sending a wrong message, leading to all kind of behavioral problems. We immediately started our "training plan" with Sammy, and after 6 weeks she turned into a different dog, she went from nasty to a cute, cuddly, well-behaved and adorable dog. At this point her toilet problem is a thing from the past that we never even mentioned anymore. Her change of attitude and state of mind have changed in a dramatic, positive way. I never thought we were going to be able to completely eliminate such a terrible potty problem (on a 3 year old Basset). THANKS TO BARK BUSTERS there is no more cleaning pee and poop from the carpet and crate, and no more nasty smell, only a HAPPY FAMILY with a HAPPY DOG. There is no training system out there as positive as Bark Busters, this thing works like a dream, it takes time but if you do exactly what you are told by your trainer and follow all the simple direction, you will be AMAZED and surely won't consider giving up your dog...THANK YOU JODI, YOU ARE THE BEST...!! |

Very easy to follow. Saw improvement in the same day. Brody was a quick learner and the commands made it easy to do. I have already shared the info with several people and was glad I learned something new and why it worked. It almost made me cry because he was showing improvement being in a new place. I am very thankful to have Jodi come and help us out. |

Jodi is a very calm, knowledgeable and helpful trainer. I notice a difference in Annie the more we work together. I am very glad I ended with Jodi, she has made a huge difference with our family. I would and will recommend her to anyone who needs help with their dogs. |

Jodi was very thorough and VERY patient with not only our dogs but with our many questions. I was amazed at the change in behavior in just about an hour of working with Jodi and dogs on the first session. It was great to have Jodi in our home. She spent a great deal of time with us and our dogs. The dogs seemed to like the stimulus of the training session. I like knowing we will be able to count on Jodi for advice and training for the life of our dogs. |

Jodi really put things into perspective for us. She explained how our behavior will affect the behavior of Pecos. She was VERY detailed, allowed us to ask questions and then made sure we understood her answers. Jodi teaches in a way that is memorable. I was also very appreciative that when we were practicing the techniques, she corrected me when I was doing the correction on Pecos incorrectly. She made sure that were “getting” the techniques and implementing them in a way that would improve Pecos’ behavior. I like how cognizant Jodi was of Pecos. She watched his behavior and mannerisms and went out of her way to make sure not to disrupt him. She wanted to set an environment for him so he would be comfortable with his training. I also liked that she directed us on how to train him, she did not completely take over his training – she participated actively and guided us. I saw results with the walking on the leash and the stimulus, training Pecos not to bark when someone knocks on the door, was more challenging. Some of the things we were doing (Alpha rolling) was actually causing more aggressive behavior so it is good that Jodi stepped in and gave us better tools. |

Jodi is wonderful! She called to check up on Oscar's progress and has been incredible with all the information and help. I am against any form of physical punishment so the Bark Buster method was right up my alley. I found the presentation to be incredibly informative and Jodi to be knowledgeable and engaging. |

Our therapist used visual aids and gave us written materials and the presentation relevant to our circumstances. I admit I had no expectation that our dog would be better behaved after the very first training, but I was wrong. The results were outstanding. We love that Bark Busters teaches quick correction and immediate praise. Our time spent with Jodi during training was very enjoyable and educational. She never made us feel rushed and was always happy to answer our questions. We got our dog Baron from the local animal rescue. From day one it was very clear that he was experiencing some fear aggression. After just the first training session with Jodi, Baron's behavior improved dramatically. We look forward to continuing with Jodi on making our home a happier place for Baron and us! We would absolutely recommend Jodi and Bark Busters to everyone we know. |

My dog went from hell raiser to angelic in one session. It taught me a lot of new things that I didn't even consider before. The training helped a lot. I like how Jodi didn't belittle us for what we were doing wrong or try to make us feel bad for it, instead told us how to fix it! She didn't get too technical and spoke very casually which helped a lot. I am recommending Bark Busters to everyone! |
