Welcome to Bark Busters! Since you are reading this site you are thinking about training for your dog(s). Great! I encourage all my clients to investigate training methods and the trainer who will be helping you with your dog. It is important that you feel comfortable not only with the methods but with the person, as well.

Since you have a dog and may have had one in the past, you already know that dogs are pack animals. When your dog first came into your home, he looked around for the leaders, and since we, as humans, don’t know how to act like a canine leader, your dog had to take on that role. Some dogs are okay with that leadership position, but most are not. You would be surprised how many dogs have skin problems and intestinal issues because their temperament is not well suited for leadership. And most behavioral problems come from the fact that your dog is the leader of your mixed human/canine pack.

As a Bark Busters behavioral therapist and trainer, I will teach you a system of communication that your dog already knows.
