Bobb Frecker

Columbus has been my home since my birth in 1961. As the son of an avid sportsman, my early life brought me in close contact with an assortment of animals including bison, elk, deer, ocelot and llamas. I once even cared for a duck in my bathroom. And, of course, there was always a dog by my side.

My family (Amy, Sarah, Max) and I have been involved with Canine Companions for Independence (based in Delaware, Ohio) since the placement of Brook in our home in 1998. We also are actively involved in the C.C.I. Puppy Raisers program.

Recently, I was faced with the decision of closing down my second-generation ice cream manufacturing business. It was then that I decided to use the hidden skills I had developed during childhood, and I joined the Bark Busters family. Bark Busters has taught me the complicated insight into canine behavior. And I am now passionate about sharing this insight with you. I cannot help you with your child's "teenage years," but I would love to help with something I do know about, your dogs. Please do not hesitate to phone me to chat about your dog, or even just to share some fishing stories. A portion of your lesson fee goes to the Canine Companion for Independence to help provide a dog for the disabled.
