Mark and Nancy Lieberman live in Westchester County, New York, with their daughter, Carolyn, and two dogs, Ullye and Petie. Mark began his 30-year career in information technology with IBM as a programmer. He later moved through the management ranks at such world-class companies as Citibank, American Express and SunGard. Mark has authored information management books and he has also been an adjunct professor at New York University's graduate school in New York City. Mark grew up in New York City and received a BA from The City University of New York (CUNY) and an MBA from Adelphi University on Long Island.

Nancy grew up in Ohio and moved to New York after receiving her BA from Oberlin College. Nancy worked in advertising and marketing at Merrill Lynch and Prudential Securities before becoming a financial consultant. After Carolyn was born, Nancy focused her full time efforts on mothering. In addition to her career in financial services, Nancy has studied piano and singing. Nancy is currently the director of the Katonah Women's Club choir. She is the past director of the Golden Apple Sweet Adeline's chorus. Nancy is also a part-time school bus driver in her hometown.

Nancy and Mark adopted their first dogs (Winston and Tammy) in 1983. Both Winston and Tammy were abandoned dogs nursed back to health by a kind women in Croton-on-Hudson. Now Mark and Nancy have another male/female pair - Ullye and Petie. Both dogs were adopted from shelters. Petie was adopted from the shelter in Ardsley, NY, and Ullye was adopted while Mark and Nancy lived in Belgium (she barks in French).

Our objective is to help families in Westchester and Putnam Counties to live in harmony with their dogs.  What my clients say about Bark Busters . . .

Dogs have been great. I have been able to let them run free on a backroad which is closed to traffic. If they get to far out in front of me, I just call them by name and tell them to sit and stay until I can catch up. I can either ask them to sit and stay, or ask them to come to me. They really listen and do what I ask of them. I am very proud. --Karen, Purchase, NY

Unbelievable! At the end of one session, Lucy stopped begging/crying for food at the table. It's amazing how effective this training is. Immediate results... --Stephanie, White Plains

Mark was a pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable and very understanding. He showed such compassion, patience kindness with our puppy. And of course my puppy respected him a great deal. I have learned so much. -- Bill H., Pelham Manor

It's amazing how simple it really is. We have seen positive results in the first few days. --Karen M., So. Salem

Bark Busters was worth every penny! There was no food, no cruelty. Everything was simple. --Anthony M., Croton-on-Hudson

One of my neighbors (was so happy) already asked for a referral. --Jamie G., White Plains

We cannot thank you enough! I have been able to walk Max and Morgan by myself ... I believe they are happier knowing we are in charge. --Jenna V., Armonk

The breakthrough we experienced was amazing! --Tracy W., Carmel

We saw an amazingly immediate improvement. Much less barking right away and much improved response to 'Come.' --Harriet W., Irvington

The training is unique in the fact that it puts you in charge almost immediately. One of my dogs lost quite a bit of weight because I no longer use treats as a reward. --Christina W., Croton-on-Hudson
