Hello! And welcome to Bark Busters of Mid- Michigan. My name is Jim Morgan and I’m the Bark Buster for all of Genesee and Lapeer Counties and portions of Oakland, Livingston and Shiawassee Counties. As Bark Busters franchises go, mine is relatively young. However, I have the luxury of having fellow Bark Busters in neighboring territories that have years of experience and have been more than willing to mentor me.

Please understand that I have chosen this line of work because of my great love of dogs. I could never conscientiously harm or hurt any animal. I use only humane methods when working with dogs, even those that have aggressive tendencies.

The Bark Busters in-home system of training puppies and re-training adult dogs, regardless of age or breed, really does work. Behavior improvements are generally immediate, and training exercises are easy to understand and to conduct. Training methods are based on the behaviors and instincts that your dog learned from its mother as a pup. As a client, you will see positive results during the first lesson.

If, as clients, you and your spouse are committed to wanting a well-behaved dog by working with the dog and the trainer for a minimum of 5 to 6 weeks, 15 to 20 minutes each day, then this is the program for you. As your trainer, I will focus on ensuring that your dog (or dogs) recognizes you and your spouse as his leaders and will ignore other distractions.

As my customer, you will have the peace of mind of knowing that your local trainer is available to you for either a full year or for the life of the dog, depending on the warranty coverage you choose. Because lessons are customized to your needs, it is difficult to forecast how many sessions will be needed to meet your expectations. Therefore, unless your have a very fearful or aggressive dog, I am currently charging a flat rate for a full one-year training guarantee, and a slightly higher rate for our Life of the Dog Guarantee. There is also an additional charge for training more than one dog.
