In-Home Training

At Bark Busters, we believe that the best place for your dog to learn is in your own home, without the distractions of other dogs and unfamiliar surroundings. It is also more convenient for busy people.

The initial training session is about 2 ½ to 3 hours and is tailored to you and your dog (not a “one-size-fits-all” training). Most people can see an improvement in their dog’s behavior after the first session.

Bark Busters Training Techniques

Our training method is based on what dogs already know: canine communication and pack law. We help you to understand where your dog is coming from so you can communicate with them in a “canine way,” rather than a “human way.” Because of this, most dogs respond much more quickly than to other methods. It is not only humane and effective; it’s fun for you and your dog. We believe that we can help any dog, at any age, with any problem.

About me . . .

I have felt a kinship with dogs for as long as I can remember. They have enriched my life beyond measure, and I have always wanted to work with them in some capacity, but I didn’t know exactly how. Then I read about Bark Busters in an article in the Denver Post. I knew this is what I had been searching for. However, by the time I found out about Bark Busters, all the territories in Colorado were taken. So, I decided to move back to my home state of Minnesota to pursue my dream of helping people and their dogs live in peace and harmony.

I am so happy to have found Bark Busters and a way to repay dogs for all they have given me. I love my work!
