Like most Americans, we toiled away at our corporate jobs. I worked as a medical case manager for a major insurance company, and Tom worked as a security manager at a large defense contractor. We performed our jobs well, but like most corporate employees, we felt the pressure of increasing expectations with fewer and fewer resources. There had to be another way.

Along came Bark Busters. We were introduced to Bark Busters by a friend. Call us selfish, but we wanted to make a difference that we could actually see first hand. We have always loved animals and especially dogs, and here was an opportunity to help dog owners by teaching them how to live with their beloved (but often ornery or stubborn) pet, and bring happiness and peace back to their home.

When was the last time you went to work and were greeted at the front door with: “We are so glad you are here. Thank you so much for coming”? When was the last time you were told at the end of your day: “Thank you so much for your help. You have really made an amazing difference”? Believe us when we tell you that we hear these kinds of comments all the time! This is a great job, and we are blessed to be involved with and inspired by such a great company.
