Ever since I was a young boy, I have had a passion for animals, especially dogs. I grew up in a family that always had a dog in the house, one that was loved and treated as a member of the family.

After working for over 23 years in the security and business industry as a business manager/electrical engineer, and after training dogs as a hobby for several years, I decided it was time to make a living doing something I was very passionate about. Gentle and humane training methods

As a volunteer at OASIS Animal Shelter (no-kill, non-profit, all-volunteer-staff) for over 15 years, I thought I "knew" dogs and how to handle them. Then Max, a (prior) ill-behaved Border Collie mix joined our home. Jaime was the answer to our prayers.

Jaime was engaging from the moment we met him--engaging with our entire family and all three canines of the household. Within 3.75 hours, Max, Molly, Lizzie (the canines), and Betty, Jim and Joni (the humans) were trained. Period. Where other trainers failed us, Jaime succeeded, and succeeded with a 100% humane and fun manner.

Jaime would be an ideal trainer of Best Friends' dogs due to his genuine and patient nature with both animals and people, and his successes.
