I have loved and enjoyed all types of dogs my entire life. There is nothing more precious to me than looking into the warm, loving eyes of my dog. I experienced the world of dog training at a very early age attending shows with my grandfather, William F. Gilroy. His life was dedicated to breeding, showing and hunting with his English Setters. He was also a well- renowned judge in the show ring and once let me show his champion, “Dixie.” I found his world fascinating, and knew I would follow in his footsteps!
My life continued into the world of animals when I started a business with my husband (a racehorse driver) that we built over the next 15 years. I worked daily with the interactions of horses and realized how unique and special each animal is. When I left this industry, I went back to school to practice dental hygiene for 15 years. I loved working with people and making their lives better.
Then my daughter (thank you) found BARK BUSTERS for me. Could it be true that I could work at my life’s passion? Could I work with people and dogs and make both of their lives better? Absolutely! BARK BUSTERS is a whole new world of dog training that no one else offers!
How do I know it works? Because I was in your shoes when I rescued my dog, Desiree almost 9 years ago. She defied everything I had ever used to train my dogs. Desiree would be the best dog in any group obedience class I enrolled her in but our house and neighborhood were an entirely different story. I tried many training methods and personal trainers and experienced incredible frustration before we experienced Bark Busters. I now have a dog that knows I am the “pack leader” of our house.
