Nancy Higgins

I began my career in medical social work and then moved to a brokerage firm, where I stayed for 23 years. Enough was enough, however, and I decided it was time to move on to a more enjoyable career.

My franchise broker asked me what I enjoyed most in life, and I answered, “ Animals first, and decorating and shopping next!” I thought I couldn’t make a living working with animals unless I was a vet, but was I ever wrong. Bark Busters changed my life.

Today I work for myself doing what I love. There is much satisfaction in seeing a dog owner’s amazement at his dog’s change in behavior, and so quickly. One huge perk is that I work with great people. All the people involved -- clients, staff and fellow franchisees -- are wonderful people. Dog people are just nice people, and that is important in what you do everyday.

I have always loved helping people, so I am thrilled to have a service-oriented business that solves problems for dogs and their owners in such a compassionate way.
