Want to learn how to say “yes” and “no” in dog lingo? Want to end the chase marathon preceding getting Sadie into her crate? Want Rover to come to you every time you called him? Sick of not being able to have visitors because Rusty has bitten the last four? Avoiding certain walk routes because Lily ferociously lunges at other dogs? From the other angle, want to know what Lola’s interpretation of pulling you on a walk is? Why does Gizmo bark and whine when you leave? Best of all, why does Sampson think he can go to the bathroom on the floor right in front of you after you have just taken him for a walk.

We can help you make sense to your dog AND your dog make sense to you!

We have the information to bridge the human/canine disconnect. We do this by educating you to use your body language and voice tone to get the desired results from your dog. We also educate you on the pack law that governs the day-to-day activities of dogs which is essential to you establishing leadership in your home.

We don’t train your dog; WE TRAIN YOU to train your dog. That being said, this technique requires you to work with your dog on prescribed exercises for 15 minutes a day to provide mind-stimulating activity, establish leadership and instill proper behavior. This commitment on your part is VERY IMPORTANT and the key to your success.

We think there is no greater testament to our service then to read what our clients have said:

We like their natural approach and way of doing business. We especially liked our therapists’ style and way of presentation. They were very patient and knowledgeable. We love them and are very grateful! –Veronica D., North Royalton

Instant results, kind and caring trainers! Thank you so much for teaching us how to calm our baby! –Lisa and Carl G., North Royalton

I am so excited because they were not barking and they actually knew I was in charge. It was amazing to see my dogs respecting me! –Jennifer C., Crossroads Animal Hospital, Strongsville

Kathy is a great teacher. Our dog loves her and so do we! –Cheri and Doug B., Parma

The trainers were very friendly and knowledgeable. A service really needed in this area. I felt I made new friends. Janet W., Bartles Pet Hospital, Brecksville

This method brings people down to the dog’s level of understanding. The dog’s response was so fast. I’m now considering my dog a “diamond in the rough” instead of an untrainable, out-of-control dog. –Carol and Steve D., Twinsburg

You’re really training the owners, aren’t you? –Becky W., Bath

I felt strange talking “dog” at first but it really worked. Peace and quiet in our house can be achieved which was never possible before. There was just such a huge difference. They’re listening, giving me attention, and loving the praise. –Renee and Pat M., Akron

I’m amazed at the great results after only 1 session. I’ve recommended Bark Busters to everyone I talk to! I’m thrilled! Thanks you! –Cheryl K., Parma Heights

We were at our wits end with a dog that would not allow anyone in our house or yard. Within one week, we had guests who actually liked our dog! –Carol and Dan S., N. Royalton

My dogs are now the dogs I always wanted them to be, these training techniques can be used by anyone who is willing to work with their dogs for a short period of time each day. The mailman came during the end of the training and the dogs did not attack the door or bark. AMAZING! – Patti and Mike S., Middleburg Heights

A little about us . . .

Kathy: I found Bark Busters when I was searching for training for my two American Eskimos pictured above. They were completely out of control! In looking for training, I found the next career for which I had long been praying. Dogs have always been my passion and I now have the mission to save many from being taken to the rescue leagues by teaching their owners how to eliminate their behavior problems. My days are so much more enjoyable and meaningful now! Previously, I managed the Equity Trading desk at Key Corp. and most recently was the Chief Equity Trader at Mellon Financial Corp. in Pittsburgh. Cleveland is my home town, and I am very excited to be back home.

Betsy: If you invite a friend and her two dogs to live with you in between when she sells her house and buys another, be prepared to buy a business with her and move to another state! Having Skye and Starr around (even as out of control as they were) rekindled my childhood love for dogs. After losing my 17-year-old Miniature Schnauzer, Gretel, I thought I would never again have a dog. But these two have reminded me how much I have been missing. I am a native of Pittsburgh where I worked for 19 years for Mellon Financial Corp., most recently as an Equity Portfolio Manager. Now, instead of helping to make people’s lives richer, I like to think I help them have richer lives.
