Ruben Moreno moved to the U.S. from Colombia, South America, at the age of one and has remained in Chicago ever since. A dog lover since childhood, he always wanted to work with animals. Ruben met Susan in 1992 at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, where they both worked. Susan had the same passion for animals and always knew that her next career would be pet related. After several years of working in healthcare they decided to make a change to improve their lives, while at the same time continue to serve others and their furry friends.
